After Mayor Jeff Cheney was elected, he worked with the Frisco Veterans Advisory Committee to create an award for a veteran living in Frisco who continues to serve the community.
The central idea was to highlight an individual who exemplifies the greatness of what America stands for and the strong Frisco ethic of service above self.
These Distinguished Veterans have a passion for serving others and we, in Frisco, are the fortunate recipients of their goodness.
